To enhance export of Leather Industry PTA is continuously doing research for new potential global markets of Leather & Leather Products. PTA will compile global statistical data on export/import of leather and leather products from internet etc. to determine the strategy of various countries and analyze how to compete in the International markets in the wake of economic and tough competition worldwide.

PTA is also planning to enhance its scope of activities next year for sustainable development of Leather Industry and to provide more detailed data of exports of leather and all leather products based on the reports being released by the Federal Board of Statistics. This will enable the member exporters to analyze and evolve dynamic strategy for the uplift of leather industry and to boost exports for achieving ambitious export target fixed for the year 2010-11 and onward too.
